Disneyland has presented over 150 different parades since July 17, 1955. These festive processions have performed more than 25,000 times and have traveled over 10,000 miles…thats enough to have crosse the United States twice.
The canopy of vegetation over the Jungle Cruise is made up of giant bamboo, ficus, palm, and coral trees. However when the Jungle Cruise first opened, the plants hadn’t had time to grow out. The landscapers planted orange trees upside down so that their roots would look like gnarled branches.
